Susan joined JamesDruryPartners with six years of executive search experience. She was a member of the Consumer Goods Practice Group at DHR International where she recruited C Suite executives for some of the nation’s most iconic retailers.    

Susan began her career as a CPA at Peat, Marwick and Mitchell & Co., before spending 12 years at Target Corporation where she held various roles of increasing responsibility in finance, planning and allocation, and merchandising.  She then joined Creative Kidstuff, an award winning specialty retailer, as a senior buyer.  She was responsible for toy selection, product development, ordering and promotions for the multi-channel retail locations including 6 retail stores, 22 Marshall Field’s toy departments, 6 national airport stores, and a national catalog and Internet site.

Susan earned a BA in Business at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a Marketing MBA from the University of Minnesota.

She lives with her family in Park Ridge and enjoys movie and book groups, and is an avid football fan.
