Kathryn Armstrong joined JamesDruryPartners as an accomplished executive search consultant with over 20 years experience in retained executive search in Chicago and St. Louis.  She joined John Sibbald Associates in 1986 and rose to become the firm’s Managing Partner. 

In the course of her 18-year career in executive search, she has had significant recruiting experience in the areas of consumer packaged goods, hospitality/recreation, real estate, business services, and not-for-profit.

In 2005, Kathryn became Executive Vice President for another successful executive search firm before being recruited herself to establish and manage the recruiting/hiring division of one of the country’s most progressive and rapidly-growing design-build firms based in St. Louis.

A native of Michigan, Kathryn earned her BBA degree in Marketing from Western Michigan University, before moving to Chicago. 

She has resided in St. Louis since 1996 and is currently a Board Member of Custom Cuts, Inc.  Kathryn has also served as a Board Member of the Old Newsboys Day Charity; as member of the Steering Committee of the Mayor’s Annual Prayer Breakfast of St. Louis; and has held numerous leadership/chair positions with the Central Institute for the Deaf, the Boys & Girls Town of Missouri, and the Whitfield School.
